On 06 Jure 2015, the Days of Ancestors – Pliska 2015 fair – festival will take place for a fourth time at Pliska National Reserve of History and Archaeology. The event is organized by Association for Recovery and Preservation of Bulgarian Traditions Avitohol, Varna partnered by the Municipality of Kaspichan, Pliska NRHA and Regional Museum of History, Shumen.
Associations and clubs for historical reenactment, freelance reenactors, horse clubs, craftsmen and ancient craft masters will meet again at Pliska to present Middle Ages way of life, culture and warrior traditions from the 7th to the 14th centuries. In addition to the traditional participants, foreign reenactment clubs will be present for a first time that will show us similar cultures and traditions derived from our common roots. Pictures of medieval life of our ancestors, campfires, camp tents, yurts, horses, riding and breakneck gallop with weapons in hand will be revived on the meadows near the palace in Pliska. Smiths with hot iron in their hand, coin makers and leather makers, feltmakers and weavers. The followers of our horse riding traditions will show their achievements in jumps racing. Folk dance and singing groups will take us back to our roots.

Association for Recovery and Preservation of Bulgarian Traditions Avitohol, Varna with an early Middle Ages camp, smiths, feltmakers, helmet and armor makers, swords, war axes and knives.
Riding the horses of Borisovi Horse Club from the village of Lyuben Karavelovo, region of Varna, they will show mounted formation and horseback use of weapons - cutting with a sword, archery and horseback spear handling.
Tradition National Association, Shumen Regional Club with a medieval camp, camp tent, artisans and food preparation.
Tradition National Association, Veliko Tarnovo Regional Club with a late medieval camp, camp tent, blacksmiths, moulders, coin makers, woodcarvers, lace knitters, etc.
Krum Strashniy Committee from Shumen with a historical reenactment of early Middle Ages events.
Vazrazhdane Patriotic Club with a late Bulgarian Middle Ages reenactment.
Chigot Historical Reenactments with a late medieval camp, camp tent, crafts and archery.
Yordan Sivkov and Zhana Sivkova with a group from the town of Dobrich, clothes and weapons, way of life and traditions of early medieval Bulgarians.
Kalina Atanasova from Varna, reconstruction freelancer, medieval pavilion, every day and formal clothes and accessories, weapons and equipments of late medieval Bulgarians.
Ivan Rendakov from Plovdiv, reconstruction freelancer, maker of medieval medieval jewelry, belt decoration, leather bags and accessories.
Lyubomir Milinov from Sofia, with medieval mead and medieval pavilion.
Marian Manyovski from Sofia, bow maker and reconstructor of Bulgarian traditional reflexive bow.
Milen Petrov from Sliven, reconstruction of early Middle Ages clothes and weapons.
Keleti Szövetség / Eastern Association - Abaújvár, Hungary – reconstruction of medieval life of the 10th to 11th centuries in the eastern part of the country, medieval camp, tent and yurt.
Drużyna Grodu Horodna - Rzeszów, Poland – reconstruction of customs and material culture of Slavs and Vikings of the 10th – 13th centuries.
Borisovi Horse Club from the village of Lyuben Karavelovo, region of Varna.
Madara Horseman Riding School, Dimitar Trukanov and a company from Sofia, horse riding demonstrations - fighting riding and martial practices, horseback archery and horseback weapon handling.
Living Arrow Horseback Archery- Bulgaria – Mihai Cosmei and Dimitar Trukanov, traditional archery, fighting archery and horseback archery.
Kabiuk Sports Club from Shumen, jumps racing.
Kaloyan 92 Sports Club from the village of Arbanasi, region of Veliko Tarnovo, jumps racing.
